The climate is changing, and the glaciers of Jostedalsbreen National Park are among the most visible evidence we have that the world is shifting. The glacier is not merely beautiful – it is part of the hydrological system that keeps the rivers, farms and industry of this region alive. Cruise tourism has grown considerably, and the local community is actively working on sustainable solutions – from electric tourist vessels to restrictions on cruise calls in sensitive fjords.
